About CADS
The Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS) is a national security group that applies the intent-centric paradigm to promote research, innovation and education in the fields of information sciences, cognitive studies and global security.
A non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Washington, DC, CADS engages in high-risk/ high-payoff projects of global significance. The Center’s interdisciplinary teams of experts from government, military, academia and the private sector work to solve the security problems of today and examine the defense issues of tomorrow.
The Center comprises four separate sub-organizations:

Through its interdisciplinary approach, the Center facilitates dialogue and contacts with educational and research institutions, international organizations, government bodies and other institutions.
The Center has a steering committee of distinguished former government officials and industry and academic leaders. CADS currently maintains 43 fellows and supports 67 doctoral students.
