A recognized expert in cognitive computing, member of the Centre de Recherches en Informatique (CRI) at the Université de Paris I, La Sorbonne, Dr. Ammar Qusaibaty served at the Center in different leadership positions in the past. He formed and directed a number of research projects and educational programs, including the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)/CADS Masters of Science Program, the Middle East & North Africa Citizen Partnership Initiative, the Defense and Security Center in Kabul, Afghanistan, and the Emerging Technology Initiative.
Dr. Qusaibaty co-founded the Descartes Institute, a research and innovation organization in Paris, France which accelerates the incubation of new technologies related to cognition computing. A former Research Professor at the George Washington University, he taught information assurance, bioengineering, intention awareness theory, and information policy courses.
Dr. Qusaibaty is heavily engaged with innovators, entrepreneurs, and venture investors. He specializes in Cognitive Based Systems, Rich Media and Collaboration.
