The College of Integrated Science and Technology (CISAT) at James Madison University prepares students in the areas of the applied sciences, health, technology and human services, and assists them in entering professions or to undertake advanced study. In doing so, CISAT helps students recognize and understand key scientific and technical developments. The College has adopted a unique collaborative, interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes innovation and encourages partnerships with industry, government, academia, professional organizations and the private sector.

Throughout the College's different programs, students are equipped with the necessary skills to creatively address the issues and needs facing contemporary society. Each CISAT program shares the common goals of commitment to an interdisciplinary curriculum, emphasis on innovation and belief in the value of technology and professional preparation.
