Salary: GS-9 ($46,000 - $59,000) with promotional potential to GS-13 ($79,000 - $103,000)
Duty Location – FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Working Hours – (Flexible) Generally 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Major Duties – This position involves working in a team environment to provide operational support to FBI executive management in the FBI Criminal Investigative Division. The applicant must have skills in preparing in-depth analysis that evaluates information from multiple sources. An ability to independently produce a finished analytical product in which analytical techniques were modified to address issues or problems is required. The applicant must demonstrate an ability to grasp conceptual ideas and exercise original thinking under stringent time constraints to evaluate national and international operational situations and present sound advice. Proficiency in Microsoft office products is required to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Proficiency in spatial data analysis and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and ArcGIS is also highly desirable. The applicant must be able to prepare descriptive reports and generate graphs and diagrams to illustrate and support the work product. Other operational support related duties may also be required. This position may require minimal travel.
