- Congressman Curt Weldon
Distinguished Speaker

Currently serving his tenth term, Congressman Weldon (R.-PA) is the most senior Republican in the Pennsylvania Delegation. A Member of the House of Representatives since 1987, he has been a leader on a broad range of issues, from national security to the environment. As Vice Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee and founder of the Homeland Security Caucus, Congressman Weldon is a frequent keynote speaker at various defense and national security conferences across the country.
- Vladimir Lefebvre
Guest of Honor

Originator of Reflexive Theory and Reflexive Control, Vladimir Lefebvre is an expert in mathematical psychology, with a particular interest in the applications of Reflexive Theory and Reflexive Control to anti-terrorism research. In 2000, he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Moldovan branch of the International Information Academy. Dr. Lefebvre founded the Reflexive Theory Research Team of the Rio Grande Research Corridor in 2002, which has received international recognition for its contributions to the field of Reflexive Theory and Reflexive Control.
- Robert Haralick
Keynote Speaker

Dr. Haralick is a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at the Graduate Center of The City University of New York. He has previously taught at the University of Washington as Boeing Clairmont Egtvedt Professor of Electrical Engineering, at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and at the University of Kansas.
- Dr. Jerrold Post
Descartes Award Presenter

Dr. Post has devoted his entire career to the field of political psychology. During his 21-year career with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), he founded and directed the Center for the Analysis of Personality and Political Behavior, an interdisciplinary behavioral science unit which provided assessments of foreign leadership and decision making for the President and other senior officials to prepare for Summit meetings and other high level negotiations and for use in crisis situations. He played the lead role in developing the "Camp David profiles" of Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat for President Jimmy Carter and initiated the US government program in understanding the psychology of terrorism.
- Dr. Shlomo Argamon
Master of Ceremonies

Awarded a Ph.D. and an M.Phil. in Computer Science from Yale University, Shlomo Argamon has taught in this and other fields, including mathematics and computational design, at various universities. Dr. Argamon received a two-year Fulbright scholarship for post-doctoral research at Bar Ilan University. He is widely published and contributes to external academic activities on a regular basis.
- Dr. Ophir Frieder
Keynote Speaker

Dr. Ophir Frieder is the IITRI Chair Professor of Computer Science and the Director of the Information Retrieval Laboratory at the Illinois Institute of Technology. His research interests focus on scalable information retrieval systems spanning search and retrieval and communications issues.
