Hannah S. Mooney

Research Associate

Hannah S. Mooney is currently enrolled in the Professional Studies M.S. program in Counterterrorism (with a concentration in Weapons of Mass Destruction) offered by the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS). Her research areas of interest include chemical and biological warfare (agents and host-pathogen interactions) and the psychological aspects of terrorism, related to both terrorists and their victims.

While completing her B.S. in Biology at George Mason University, Ms. Mooney’s coursework and laboratory experience included cell biology, microbiology, genetics, immunology, anatomy and physiology, organic chemistry, statistical analysis, and biomedical ethics. She is also currently a laboratory technician at the Genetics and IVF Institute.
