Law Enforcement Information Sharing


Recent efforts to augment the ability of local law enforcement and justice agencies to share mission critical information in a timely manner have made significant progress towards interoperability. The initiative of pushing every local police department to using a computer-based records management system has subsequently evolved into attempts to allow counties to establish data sharing systems. To continue moving forward, technology must allow for easy vertical and horizontal integration and contain intelligent analytical components.
