The Center for Advanced Defense Studies is a 501.c.3 charitable non-profit organization. We seek to enable free thought and idea exchange to achieve workable, sustainable and adaptive solutions to today’s persistent security challenges.

As a centrist, non-partisan, academic institution, we are committed to education as a public good. We uphold the highest standards of intellectual rigor and fact-based research. The nature of research and the varied domains of professional expertise of our Fellows and Research Staff can result in conflicting analysis. Therefore, we strive to allow them a platform from which to state their opinions, but require that they clarify such as their own based upon their expertise in the designated field, unless otherwise stated.
