Dr. Newton Howard is the director of the Mind Machine Project and a resident scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He received his Doctoral degree in Cognitive Informatics and Mathematics from University of Paris 1 - La Sorbonne (France) where he was also awarded the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches for his leading work on the Physics of Cognition (PoC) and its applications to complex medical, economical and security equilibriums. While a graduate at the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Oxford, England, he proposed the Theory of Intention Awareness (IA). He also held positions as a professor of Mathematics and Psychiatry at The George Washington University, where he established leading academic programs directed to solve real world problems.

Dr. Howard is an international executive who served on multiple boards and is currently the Chairman of the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS), a Washington, D.C, national security group. He is a national security advisor to several U.S. Government organizations. During his early career he was a member of the U.S. national security officers community, serving in several strategic and operational posts.

Dr. Jerrold Post is Professor of Psychiatry, Political Psychology and International Affairs and Director of the Political Psychology Program at The George Washington University (GWU).

Dr. Post has devoted his entire career to the field of political psychology. Dr. Post joined GWU after a 21-year career with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he founded and directed the Center for the Analysis of Personality and Political Behavior, an interdisciplinary behavioral science unit which provided assessments of foreign leadership and decision making for the President and other senior officials to prepare for Summit meetings and other high level negotiations and for use in crisis situations. He played the lead role in developing the "Camp David profiles" of Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat for President Jimmy Carter and initiated the US government program in understanding the psychology of terrorism. In recognition of his leadership at the Center, Dr. Post was awarded the Intelligence Medal of Merit in 1979, and received the Studies in Intelligence Award in 1980. He received the Nevitt Sanford Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Political Psychology in 2002.

Lester S. Hyman, J.D.

Lester S. Hyman has acted as an advisor to eight U.S. presidential candidates, and has vetted candidates for Vice-President, U.S. Attorney General, Secretary of the Treasury, Director of the CIA, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Now a sole practitioner, Mr. Hyman was a founding partner and Senior Counsel at the prominent Washington law firm Swidler Berlin LLP (now part of Bingham McCutcheon LLP). He draws on over 40 years of experience in law, government and politics to create and implement legislative strategies, as well as resolve disputes, for clients that include Fortune 500 corporations, major international companies and foreign nations.

Sue Kelly

Mrs. Kelly is a former member of Congress who represented the 19th District of New York from 1995 to 2006. She was on House Committee on Financial Services, House Committee on Small Business, and House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. During her congressional tenure, Mrs. Kelly was a strong advocate for veterans, supporter of the environment by working on fuel efficiently and renewable energy issues, and worked closely with President Bush in improving Homeland Security. Prior to becoming a Congresswoman, Mrs. Kelly held jobs as a small business owner, patient advocate, rape counselor, researcher and educator. She holds a Bachelors in botany and bacteriology from Denison University and a Masters in Health Advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College.

Sharon M. Brown

Mrs. Sharon Brown has been an active philanthropist for several years. Upon moving to Aiken, South Carolina, she became actively involved in the cultural scene there through her participation as an Executive Board Member and Donor to the Aiken Center for the Arts and through her support for the Aiken Civic Ballet, the Aiken Opera Society, the Aiken Symphony Guild, the Julliard in Aiken Program and the Historic Aiken Foundation. Under her guidance, Aiken has become an artistic oasis. She has also supported the community through her contributions to the Society for the Prevention to Animals in Aiken, for which she served as the Honorary Chair, and through her support for the Boxing Club of Aiken.

Previously, Mrs. Brown has pursued community service endeavors through her Executive Board and Endowment Board membership with Barnabas International, an interdenominational, educational, missionary organization and through her association with the Center for Women in Summit New Jersey. She has also done her part to sustain the environment through her participation in the Edisto River Hound and the Friends of Hopelands/Rye Patch botanical garden.
