Future Energy Program
The confluence of environmental and security concerns have created an opportunity for fundamental change in the way the world produces and consumes energy. The Center’s Future Energy Program drives change by bringing together both public and private stakeholder groups, delivering insightful research analyses to key decisionmakers, and developing pragmatic approaches for our industry partners. The Future Energy Program aims to develop policy approaches and support innovation in specific areas that have the potential to achieve critical scale and make a significant impact on the global energy landscape.
Specific thrust areas include:
- Supporting U.S. energy innovation – tactics, techniques, and technology
- Enhancing the Department of Defense’s energy-related supply chain
- Understanding natural resource tensions - emerging regional energy security issues
