Sue Kelly

Mrs. Kelly is a former member of Congress who represented the 19th District of New York from 1995 to 2006. She was on House Committee on Financial Services, House Committee on Small Business, and House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. During her congressional tenure, Mrs. Kelly was a strong advocate for veterans, supporter of the environment by working on fuel efficiently and renewable energy issues, and worked closely with President Bush in improving Homeland Security. Prior to becoming a Congresswoman, Mrs. Kelly held jobs as a small business owner, patient advocate, rape counselor, researcher and educator. She holds a Bachelors in botany and bacteriology from Denison University and a Masters in Health Advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College.
