Dr. Howard holds a Doctoral degree in Cognitive Informatics from La Sorbonne, France. Internationally, he is a leading researcher on the Physics of Cognition (PoC) and its applications to Defense and International Security.
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
A graduate of the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Oxford, his work there proposed the Theory of Intention Awareness (IA). Dr. Howard is the Founder and Director of the Institute for Mathematical Complexity and Cognition (MC2). Addressing subjects related to cognition, complexity and intentions, this institute is also active in systems engineering and international security. Dr. Howard also heads the Descartes Institute for Mathematical Methods in Behavioral Codification and Global Security, focusing on behavior models and codification to develop new approaches for counter-terrorism based on in-depth analysis.

&lt;p&gt;Mrs. Kelly is a former member of Congress who represented the 19th District of New York from 1995 to 2006. She was on House Committee on Financial Services, House Committee on Small Business, and House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. During her congressional tenure, Mrs. Kelly was a strong advocate for veterans, supporter of the environment by working on fuel efficiently and renewable energy issues, and worked closely with President Bush in improving Homeland Security.  Prior to becoming a Congresswoman, Mrs. Kelly held jobs as a small business owner, patient advocate, rape counselor, researcher and educator. She holds a Bachelors in botany and bacteriology from Denison University and a Masters in Health Advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College.&lt;/p&gt;

Dr. Jerrold Post is Professor of Psychiatry, Political Psychology and International Affairs and Director of the Political Psychology Program at &lt;a href="http://www.gwu.edu"&gt;The George Washington University&lt;/a&gt; (GWU).
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
Dr. Post has devoted his entire career to the field of political psychology. Dr. Post joined GWU after a 21-year career with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he founded and directed the Center for the Analysis of Personality and Political Behavior, an interdisciplinary behavioral science unit which provided assessments of foreign leadership and decision making for the President and other senior officials to prepare for Summit meetings and other high level negotiations and for use in crisis situations. He played the lead role in developing the "Camp David profiles" of Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat for President Jimmy Carter and initiated the US government program in understanding the psychology of terrorism. In recognition of his leadership at the Center, Dr. Post was awarded the Intelligence Medal of Merit in 1979, and received the Studies in Intelligence Award in 1980. He received the Nevitt Sanford Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Political Psychology in 2002.

At the Center for Advanced Defense Studies, Ammar Qusaibaty oversees and directs a number of research projects and educational programs, including the &lt;a href="ssp"&gt;Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)/CADS Masters of Science Program&lt;/a&gt;, the Middle East &amp; North Africa Citizen Partnership Initiative, the Defense and Security Center in Kabul, Afghanistan, the Counterterrorism &amp; Global Security Certificate Program, Information Policy Dimensions, and Global Defense Policy of Laws. A Research Professor at the George Washington University, he has taught information assurance, bioengineering, discrete mathematics, intention awareness theory, and information policy courses. Mr. Qusaibaty has taught several courses through the RIT/CADS MS program.
